Hark! I Can't Sing But It's Christmas!

I wanted to come by here and say that I love you guys. You are some of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and reading. Thank you so much for a great year and a very happy holiday season. Now, personally, I'm a traditional Christmas person; I like my eggnog, I read the stories with my glasses tapped down to the tip of my nose and most importantly I read the story of Jesus' birth out loud with my family (regardless if he was really not born on Christmas Day). Anyways I wanted to drop by here with a merry heart to say that this season is not about political correctness. I see so many people getting Scrooge'd Up because they think it's offensive to say only one holiday when someone is leaving. My experience is something more along the lines of me saying Merry Christmas, someone will either do the same back to me or say their holiday greeting and then I will repeated back to them. It's just common courtesy. I'm not offended by what they said and (in my experience so far) they're not offended by what I said. I live in the melting pot and if we can't take the time to respect each other, we're never gonna melt. 

Please, spend your holidays with loved ones. Make your belly burst and laugh. Spend them with new people, strangers, meet some souls because this is the one season where you can do that. Fortunately for us we get to do that everyday here on the site and that leads to us taking it for granted. Reach out, have fun and sing - even if you can't.
